The previous website needed a refresh so I gave it a complete makeover. Using WordPress and Elementor Working closely with Gabriela, the business owner, I was able to create a modern, polished & easy-to-navigate website that does the brand justice.
From layout, look & feel to functionality and load speed I redesigned the new ErgalaMedia website and gave it a more 2025 look. The previous website was designed in 2015 and since then it only received ocasional improvements and updates on the functional side but the design became outdated.
Through a common connection, Gabriela, ErgalaMedia's owner, approached me and let me know she wants a brand-new website design of her digital marketing agency, along with some tweaks and improvements in functionality. First we established key parameters I needed to keep in mind. For example Gabriela was fond of the existing color pallete and wanted me to revolve around it, as she felt it best represented her vision.
Having over 10 years experience in Digital Marketing and SEO practices, Gabriela also informed me hat the website's IA(Information Architecture) is to be kept almost identical, except a few improvements and tweaks she will modify and then send over to me.
First of all I made sure there is enough space on Gabriela's server to create a dev website where I can easily work, while keeping the live website intact and visible to the public.
Then I created a high-fidelity prototype for the homepage for Gabriela to review, test & approve before resuming the development of the other pages. After some iterations we reached a sweet-spot and I had greenlight to proceed with the rest of the pages.
Using WordPress and only Elementor, with its "Hello Elementor Theme", I built a responsive and dynamic website. Of course along the way I had to adjust the layouts with some HTML, CSS and JS. Photoshop & Illustrator played a key role in customizing photos, icons and other graphic assets.
The end result was a modern, visually appealing and easy to navigate website that represents Gabriela's brand.
